Taken from a train in motion.
A detail of a steam locomotive in the Museum of Railway in Utrecht.
Taken in a hurry at the ‘s-Hertogenbosch station, when we ran from one train to another when they suddenly changed the route and informed the passengers in Dutch only. At first I was angry, but then I found out I had two minutes to take photos.
Taken through a dirty train window, with a focus on marks left by rain. When I was painting on a regular basis, my paintings looked pretty much like this.
I have to take a train every time I want to go to Dublin. This is a relatively reliable means of transport.
Also, my blog has got over 200 subscribers since today. Thank you! I would never imagine, that my photos could be so popular.
DART is an acronym for Dublin Area Rapid Transport. Basically it’s a train line that goes north-south along the coast and through the Dublin City centre. I actually love the name “DART”, it’s a pretty nifty word game.
