I hate winter, I always have trouble adapting to short days and have absolutely no energy to do anything useful. So I thought I’d share something summery and vibrant, as a faint protest against all that. That’s the only thing I have enough energy to do now.
I find it utterly creepy.
A detail of a steam locomotive in the Museum of Railway in Utrecht.
Found in Amsterdam. I feel a lot like painting this composition, but I only have pencils here. Perhaps when I return home.
This is the last Dublin photo for now, because I’m going off on a holiday to Holland. Hopefully since tomorrow I will post a lot of beautiful photos from there. Now off to pack my camera.
Taken at the Museum of Archeology in Dublin.
Remember my balcony lightbulb? It has a friend now – an ivy twig.
A detail of a steam train.
Now that I’m stuck at home I should really practice more. Sounds like a plan.
I have a foot injury and can’t go photo shooting, and Veronica suggested that until I get better, I should do some photo shooting from home, a home prisoner series. Stuff around me, things I see from my windows etc. The idea was brilliant and I loved it, so here’s the first photo – a lightbulb on my balcony wall.
I might post some old photos too, show you some views from my hometown in Poland some time.
Not sure if I got all the grey tones right, the sun was very bright and there was way too much contrast.
From one of the accessory stalls at the Arcadecon.
Taken at the Arcadecon convention this weekend.
A very old and decorative radiator.
Artistic glass bottle from the Woman Factor festival I went to in March.
I couldn’t decide which shot was better, black and white or colour (they’re actually two different shots, not just one shot processed differently), so there you go. A third one.
