The pink sky doesn’t mean the photo was taken during sunset, it’s a result of a chromatic aberration made by pinhole.

Another one from 2007. I still have that pinhole camera somewhere. It was made out of an old Zenit manual camera (old enough to not have a light meter).
Pinhole experiments II
For my pinhole photography shoot back in 2007 I chose one of the poorest areas in Wroclaw, known commonly as the “Bermuda Triangle” (because stuff disappears there). I was a bit afraid to go there alone, so I took two guys with me. Nobody who saw me taking photos seemed to mind, though. They were curious why I liked those poor, decayed and godforsaken places.

Since I’ve had the 1.8/50 lens I rarely use the kit lens, but this view required a wider angle. I left the distortions, I think they contribute to the strange atmosphere of this photo.
