I’ve decided to post a short comic story I’ve been working on for the past few days. It’s sort of an extended thought, explaining why I do things like blogging, for example. I used a character that I might use in my future stories, so I could practice drawing him in different angles. This is my first comic page bigger than a simple three frame strip, so all critique is welcome.
I’m having trouble with the details, but this is mainly because I still don’t remember which brush does what (I’m more used to traditional drawing techniques), and I still modify the settings all the time, not sure what they will do. I suppose this will improve in time, if I continue to practice a lot.
Before somebody notices that the character looks like Rosinski’s Hans and Andreas’s Rork mixed together, please don’t bother telling me, I know that ;)
Looks good to me, I love Rork!
Converting a thought into a three-frame’er must me an interesting experience. I love the fact that your character looks towards what seems to be the future in the last frame.
Looking forward to more comic stories.
Not just ‘a few things’ you should do because you want. Most things you should do because you want to… Well that’s how I see it.
You got me hooked reading from 1st frame to last ;) Good job!
